Federal Financial Aid-
PELL Grants
PELL grants are available to students who demonstrate financial need. A FAFSA must be completed.

Florida Student Assistant Grant-Career Education
The Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG) Program is a need-based grant program available to degree-seeking, resident, and undergraduate students who demonstrate substantial financial need and are enrolled in a participating postsecondary institution.
Florida Work Experience Program-Work-study
The Florida Work Experience Program (FWEP) is a need-based program providing eligible Florida students work experiences to complement and reinforce their educational and career goals. Each eligible and participating college, university, Florida college (public community college), career center operated by a district school board, and educator preparation institute determines application procedures, deadlines, student eligibility, and award amount.
Florida Bright Futures
Florida's Bright Futures Scholarships include the Florida Academic Scholars Award, Merit Scholars Award, and the Gold Seal Vocational Scholars Award. All three are based on students' high school academic achievement and are awarded to high school seniors that are Florida residents.
Florida Prepaid College Fund
Florida Prepaid College Fund is a program that provides an opportunity for the student's parents to pay in advance for the student's college education. Students will need to provide documentation to the Financial Aid Office.
Vocational Rehabilitation
Vocation Rehabilitation is a program that covers a student’s tuition and fees, books, and school supplies for people who have disabilities.
Emerald Coast Technical College Opportunity Scholarship
Emerald Coast Technical College Opportunity Scholarship award amounts vary and are awarded based on several factors including but not limited to, merit, financial need, a program of study, and other specifications set by the financial aid office.
Students are responsible for meeting all eligible requirements and submitting required admissions and financial aid documents, which may include submitting proof of Florida Residency for Tuition Purposes. Students not meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) or are no longer in Good Academic Standing will not be considered or remain eligible for ECTC Scholarship
Tri-County Assistance Programs
Community services provided through Tri-County Community Council, Inc. include self-sufficiency, transportation, education, supportive services, youth development, emergency assistance, food pantry, and teen gifts.

Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA)
This program is designed to provide education and training opportunities in high-demand occupations to increase employment, earnings, and job retention for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program participants. Available services are based on a determination of needs and include tuition and book assistance (up to $6,000), uniforms, supplies, and vocational guidance. The Goal of Florida's WIOA is to build a skilled workforce.
Veterans Affairs
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) provides education benefits to eligible Servicemembers, Veterans, and certain dependents and survivors. You may receive financial support for undergraduate and graduate degrees, vocational and technical training, licensing and certification tests, apprenticeships, on-the-job training, and more.
VA’s education programs have different requirements concerning the length of military service, and the benefits are paid out differently, as well.
