On April 15th, the ECTC community is coming together to recognize and honor our military personnel and their families as part of Purple Up Day, celebrated nationwide during the Month of the Military Child. 💜
Purple represents all branches of the military — combining Army green, Navy blue, Air Force blue, Marine red, and Coast Guard blue — as a symbol of unity and support.
We invite all ECTC staff and students to join us in wearing purple on April 15th to show appreciation for the sacrifices and strength of our military-connected students and their families.

Our students recently completed a project installing 160 feet of 4-inch sewer pipe, carefully digging the trench and using levels to ensure the proper pitch for correct drainage—a critical skill in the plumbing trade.
This real-world project will provide sewer service to campers and a new building at the U.S. Military Veterans MC compound in Crestview.
Experiences like this project allow our students to gain valuable hands-on training while giving back to the community. We are proud of their hard work and dedication to mastering the trade!
