Our AM and PM ESOL students recently came together to celebrate a year of growth, achievement, and perseverance!
Students enjoyed gathering at Scratch Biscuit Kitchen and 30A Beach Café, where they had the opportunity to practice their English skills in real-world settings while enjoying great food and fellowship. From ordering meals to engaging in conversation with classmates and restaurant staff, these experiences help students build confidence and apply the skills they have worked so hard to develop throughout the year.

We are proud to recognize the outstanding progress our ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) students have made this year under the guidance of instructor Maria Preis-Rogowski!
✅ In the AM class, students gained an average of 8.8 points on the CASAS Reading Assessment, with 60% advancing to the next NRS educational level.
✅ In the PM class, 100% of students improved their reading scores, with an average gain of 6 points, and 66% advancing to the next NRS educational level.
These results reflect the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our students as they continue to strengthen their English language skills and work toward their educational and career goals.
Congratulations to all of our ESOL students on your achievements this year! We are proud of your commitment to learning and excited to see what you accomplish next.
