Everyone who donates will receive a heart to fill out that will be displayed around campus. Donations are accepted throughout the entire month of February and can be dropped off in Building 600.

Today, students from the WISE Center visited Emerald Coast Technical College for a walk-through tour of several of our programs.

In honor of American Heart Month, Emerald Coast Technical College (ECTC) is proud to provide hands-on CPR training for our faculty, students, and staff on Thursday, February 12th.
ECTC students please sign up with your teacher and be sure to choose which time you want to attend this FREE class! ECTC Faculty and Staff may drop by anytime during the day to partipcate in a hands-only CPR informative session provided by our Pharmacy Technician students and staff!
This interactive training empowers our campus community with life-saving skills—because knowing how to respond in an emergency can make all the difference.

Our Cosmetology students at Emerald Coast Technical College had the opportunity to learn from a representative with ICON Shears during a hands-on shear presentation!
Students explored different shear sizes, styles, and designs, tested them firsthand, and learned why proper ergonomics matter in the salon. From comfort and control to preventing long-term strain, choosing the right tools is just as important as mastering technique.

Our Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC/R) 1 & 2 students at Emerald Coast Technical College are putting their skills to the test by installing a new ice machine, completing a test run, and washing out the bin in preparation for the first harvest.
From proper installation and sanitation to system checks and performance testing, this real-world experience is precisely how our students learn to do it right—industry-ready and job-ready.
