From ordering meals to engaging in conversation with classmates and restaurant staff, these experiences help students build confidence and apply the skills they have worked so hard to develop throughout the year.

✅ In the AM class, students gained an average of 8.8 points on the CASAS Reading Assessment, with 60% advancing to the next NRS educational level.
✅ In the PM class, 100% of students improved their reading scores, with an average gain of 6 points, and 66% advancing to the next NRS educational level.
These results reflect the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our students as they continue to strengthen their English language skills and work toward their educational and career goals.

Students from Ms. Kirk’s Practical Nursing class recently had the incredible opportunity to observe a surgical procedure and assist with processing surgical instruments following the operation at North Walton Doctors Hospital.
Experiences like these provide valuable hands-on learning that helps prepare our future nurses for success in the healthcare field. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real-world clinical experiences.
A special thank you to Dr. Creek, Ashley, Jamie, Tanner, Eva, and the entire OR staff for welcoming our students and investing in their education. Your guidance, support, and partnership make a lasting impact on the next generation of healthcare professionals.
