Ribbon Cutting Highlights at the Magnet Innovation Center!
Last month, members of the Walton County School Board, the County Commission, the building firm and the architectural team joined us for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Magnet Innovation Center.
Guests toured our brand-new PN/PCT Skills Lab, where our PCT instructor demonstrated the incredible capabilities of the new Juno equipment. They also visited the AIT lab next door to see firsthand how our students are preparing for high-demand careers through hands-on learning and industry-aligned technology.
It was a wonderful event, and we are grateful for the support and collaboration as we continue to grow opportunities for students in Walton County!

Our Electricity students put their skills to work at the Walton County Fairgrounds earlier this month—installing a brand-new circuit and 14 fans in the livestock area! 🐄🐖🐓
Hands-on training like this not only keeps our community cool but also gives students real-world experience in electrical wiring, safety, and teamwork. 👷♂️🔌

🎃 Spooky Fun at the Haunted Clinic Adventure! 👻
Our ECTC Chief Nursing Officer and Practical Nursing Instructor had a blast representing Emerald Coast Technical College at the White-Wilson Medical Center Haunted Clinic Adventure on October 25!
Between the ghost hunt, spooky crafts, outdoor fun, and costume contests, they helped spread the word about our incredible healthcare programs, along with our GED and ESOL programs and dual enrollment options—all while showing that ECTC knows how to mix learning with a little Halloween fun! 💉🩺🧙♀️🍬

🎟️ Guests brought non-perishable food items for donation—what a wonderful way to give back while celebrating!
