Beginning July 1, 2026, all new and returning student-athletes will be required to complete electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) screenings in accordance with Florida Senate Bill 1070, the โSecond Chance Act.โ These screenings will be held in the WHS media center on ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ฒ, ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thanks to the generous support of the St. Joe Foundation, these screenings will be provided at no cost to our athletes. Optional $20 donations will be accepted. If selecting the free option, scroll to the bottom of the page and check "yes" on the "financial assistance" question.
Screening details:
- Parents must register their child/children by going to http://whoweplayfor.org/form-redirect?id=260485566934065
- Electrocardiograms will be interpreted by pediatric cardiologists volunteering with Who We Play For (WWPF).
- Results will be delivered to parents/guardians.

- 1st period (8:18-9:08) - varsity football; girls basketball
- 2nd period (9:13-10:03) - JV football; boys & girls track
- 3rd period (10:09-10:59) - baseball; boys & girls golf
- 4th period (11:04-12:44) - volleyball; beach volleyball; boys & girls soccer
- 5th period (12:49-1:39) - boys basketball; boys & girls cross country
- 6th period (1:44-2:34) - boys & girls weightlifting; boys & girls tennis
- 7th period (2:39-3:30) - softball; cheerleading
