Program Description

This program is designed to prepare students who currently hold a valid, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the Florida Board of Nursing, for employment as Registered Nurses (RN). The program must be approved by the Florida Board of Nursing in order for graduates to apply and take the examination to practice as Registered Nurses.

Admission Requirements

High school diploma/GED, must be 18 yrs or older, TEAS (ATI) test, background check, fingerprinting (must be performed by Walton County School District), urine drug screen, physical including PPD, TB skin test.

PREREQUISITES: Licensed Practical Nurse & IV Therapy Certification: Applicant must provide these documents as part of the application.
