National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) Scholarships

The Mike Rowe WORKS Foundation provides scholarship opportunities for students pursuing careers in the skilled trades.

CHELCO Scholarship Program

CHELCO offers annual scholarships to eligible members and dependents pursuing postsecondary education or technical training.

General requirements may include:

• Applicant must be a CHELCO member or dependent of a member.

• Applicant must attend a college, university, or technical school.

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

• Attendance at the CHELCO Annual Meeting may be required.

Scholarship requirements and award amounts are established annually by CHELCO.

AIST Foundation Trade School Scholarship

The application deadline is June 30 of each school year.

The AIST Foundation offers a $2,600 scholarship for eligible trade school and community college students preparing for careers in the iron and steel industry, including welding, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.

Recipients must complete a required paid internship, apprenticeship, or work-based learning placement with a steel-producing or steel-related company. Commuting or relocation may be required.

Applicants must meet citizenship, enrollment, and academic requirements, including a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or equivalent.
